Park Grove Bowl

Bowling to the rescue!

We had a trip to Lions Levee Park, a backwater and island on the Mississippi river, planned for our first trip of the year but as always, nature is in charge and as sometimes happens in the fall, heavy rains caused flooding that put our destination mostly underwater just the day before. So rather than cancel a highly anticipated off-campus EdVenture, we adapted to our situation and came up with a Plan B: a trip to our friendly neighborhod bowling alley. While we weren't able to get outside and teachers weren't able to carry out the learning activities they had planned, it was a great community-building opportunity. Thanks to Park Grove Bowl for accomadating us on such short notice!
